Pastor Chong La Her was called to minister at Hmong Community Church in October of 2017. He studied at Faith Baptist Bible College & Seminary receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and minoring in Youth Studies. He has served many years as an adviser and consultant supporting the HBNA Youth Camp ( Standing Stones ).

Pastor Chong La continues to serve as a Bi-Vocational pastor working in the field of Education as a Behavioral Dean in Brooklyn Park, MN.

He is married to his beautiful wife of 23 years Canya Veu and they have four children. Lillian, Grace, Lena and Elijah. He is passionate about playing guitar and enjoys supporting the Praise & Worship Team.
